"Barriers related to the lack of competitive capacities and products will clearly reveal themselves during these years. At the same time, measures protecting the domestic market during the transitional period of joining the WTO will come to an end," the ministry said.
According to ministry experts, to maintain stable annual growth rates at 6% or above, the model of a competitive economy based on available global advantages and resources for development should be followed.
The ministry said these advantages included scientific, personnel-related and environmental potentials, geo-economic benefits associated with Russia's position after the collapse of the Soviet Union, and the country's well-developed trade and economic ties with the world's leading economies.
