Turkmenistan to supply gas to Ukraine at cheaper price - Yushchenko

KIEV, December 30 (RIA Novosti) - Tukmenistan will supply Ukraine with 40 billion cubic meters of natural gas at $50 per 1,000 cu m starting January 1, Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko said on national television Friday.

Yushchenko said the two countries had agreed on the terms about 10 days ago.
