MAKHACHKALA, January 5 (RIA Novosti) - Five militants have been killed in a special operation in the North Caucasus republic of Dagestan, a local law enforcement official said Thursday.
Police units are conducting a search for the remaining three militants, one of whom is reportedly wounded, the official said. Operatives discovered an abandoned terrorist base in the mountains during the search.
