MOSCOW, January 5 (RIA Novosti) - Russian President Vladimir Putin submitted Thursday a Russian-Tajik border cooperation agreement to the parliament's lower house for ratification, the president's press service said.
The agreement was signed in the capital of Tajikistan, Dushanbe, on October 16, 2004.
The president appointed Vladimir Pronichev, the head of the Russian border guard service, as the presidential representative during the consideration of the agreement in the Russian parliament.
