MOSCOW, January 6 (RIA Novosti) - Russian energy giant Gazprom said Friday any deviations from the Russian-Ukrainian contract on natural gas were unacceptable. "The contract that has been finally agreed and signed corresponds to Ukraine's [gas] needs. Any deviations from this contract are inconceivable, and would lead to the disruption of gas supplies to Ukraine if implemented unilaterally," Gazprom spokesman Sergei Kupriyanov said.
