"For the first time in many years we are moving on from grey non-transparent schemes that have nothing in common either with market relations or the interests of our states. For the first time we are adopting entirely transparent relations with equal rights, which will not only improve Russian-Ukrainian cooperation in the energy sphere, but will also help to stabilize energy markets in Europe, and increase the authority of our countries as reliable and predictable partners," he said.
"Russia will do everything necessary to fulfill all its obligations, and moreover, is prepared to unilaterally provide help and support to Ukraine in solving its energy problems, if there is a need and demand from the Ukrainian side," the president said.
