TEL AVIV, January 6 (RIA Novosti) - The operation on Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon has been completed, the chief doctor of the Jerusalem clinic where he is being treated said Friday. The goal of the operation was to reduce intracranial pressure, the doctor said.
The results of the operation have not yet been announced. The premier will soon undergo another brain scan.
Sharon was admitted to intensive-care Wednesday following a severe stroke.
