MOSCOW, January 7 (RIA Novosti) - A large cache containing ammunition and explosives has been discovered in the North Caucasus republic of Chechnya, the republic's law enforcement authorities said Saturday.
The cache, found at a cemetery in the village of Hambi-Irzi in central Chechnya, was concealed with earth and contained 59 kilograms of hexogen and plastic explosives, a 100-kg bomb, and more than 100 TNT blocks.
Sappers from a Russian Interior Ministry unit destroyed the cache.
