KIEV, January 10 (RIA Novosti) - The Ukrainian parliament, the Supreme Rada, passed a resolution Tuesday setting up a parliamentary commission to investigate the financial and economic operations of the country's oil and gas company Naftogaz and its personnel policy.
A total of 218 deputies voted in favor of the motion. The Rada also accepted in broad outline a bill on freezing increases in housing and utility charges, household gas and electricity prices and public transport fares.
The Ukrainian parliament passed the resolution after discussing the Russian-Ukrainian gas agreements that were signed on January 4.
