Foreign currency exchange rates as fixed by Central Bank of Russia for January 12

MOSCOW, January 11 (RIA Novosti) - The following rates of exchange of foreign currencies to the ruble of the Russian Federation have been fixed for the purposes of accounting and customs duty payments from January 12, 2005:

1 Australian dollar - 21.3739 rubles

1 British pound sterling - 50.1792 rubles

1,000 Belarusian rubles - 13.2258 rubles

10 Danish krones - 46.0397 rubles

1 US dollar - 28.4834 rubles

1 euro - 34.3538 rubles

100 Icelandic krones - 46.4732 rubles

100 Kazakh tenges - 21.2920 rubles

1 Canadian dollar - 24.4053 rubles

1 new Turkish lira - 21.1537 rubles

10 Norwegian krones - 42.8051 rubles

1 unit of conditional drawing rights - 41.2554 rubles

1 Singapore dollar - 17.4019 rubles

10 Ukrainian hryvnias - 56.1061 rubles

10 Swedish kronas - 36.6766 rubles

1 Swiss franc - 22.2231 rubles

100 Japanese yen - 24.8330 rubles

The foreign currency exchange rates to the ruble of the Russian Federation entail no obligation on the part of the Bank of Russia to buy or sell the currencies according to the above rates.
