PETROPAVLOVSK-KAMCHATSKY, January 14 (RIA Novosti) - A minor earthquake hit Kamchatka's eastern coast in Russia's Far East Saturday, local seismologists said.
The earthquake, which measured 4.5 on the Richter scale, happened at 7.39 a.m. Moscow time (4.39 a.m. GMT), with the epicenter 120 kilometers southeast of regional center Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. There are no reports of any injuries and destructions.
