TOMILINO (Moscow Region), January 20 (RIA Novosti) - Electricity supplies were briefly cut Friday to a number of residential buildings in the Moscow Region village of Tomilino, which is already suffering disruptions to its heating supplies.
The cut in power to 18 of the village's buildings lasted around 35 minutes.
A failure at the local boiler plant Wednesday night had left 43 Tomilino buildings and a hospital without heating.
The press service of the Moscow Region's governor said Friday that heat supplies had been restored to 90% of the village's houses, but several buildings remained without heat. Local residents said the temperature in their apartments was around 8°C (46.4°F).
Temperatures in Moscow Friday were around minus 25 degrees Celsius (minus 13 degrees Fahrenheit).
