MOSCOW, January 24 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's industrial production in 2005 was up 4% as against 6.1% in 2004, the Federal Statistics Service said Tuesday.
The service said production had grown by 4.6% in December 2005 against December 2004, while growth in December 2005 on November 2005 was 6.6%.
According to the service's data, in 2005 mineral production grew by 1.2% on 2004, while energy, natural gas and water production and distribution grew by 1.5% on 2004.
Minerals production in December 2005 on November 2005 grew by 3.1%, while gas, energy and water production and distribution grew by 19%.
Car production decreased by 3.8% on 2004, the service said.
