MOSCOW, January 26 (RIA Novosti) - Russian-Chinese trade turnover grew 37% to more than $29 billion in 2005, the Russian economics ministry said Thursday.
"The scale of Russian-Chinese economic interaction is growing at unprecedentedly high rates," the Economic Development and Trade Ministry said. "Mutual trade is increasingly supplemented by investment cooperation."
The two sides agreed to speed up work on a bilateral trade cooperation program for 2006-2010 and discussed regulating shuttle trade, the ministry said.
