MOSCOW, February 2 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's gross domestic product increased by 34.7% from 2000 to 2005, the Federal Statistics Service said Thursday.
The country's GDP rose an estimated 6.4% in 2005 against the previous year.
Russia's GDP grew 4.7% in 2002, 7.3% in 2003 and 7.1% in 2004, the agency said.
In nominal terms, Russia's GDP was worth about $757 billion in current prices in 2005, the agency said, but the real GDP in 2003 terms stood at about $527 billion in 2005.
