MOSCOW, February 8 (RIA Novosti) - About 1,500 law enforcement officers will provide security at a meeting between the finance ministers of the Group of Eight club of rich nations to be held in Moscow, a police spokesman said Wednesday.
The G8 finance ministers' meeting will be held on February 11 at the National hotel in Moscow. Officials are expected to start arriving from February 9.
"Each day, starting from the arrival of the guests until their departure, about 1,500 police officers and soldiers from the Interior Ministry will be deployed to maintain order on the streets of the capital," the official said.
