MOSCOW, February 11 (RIA Novosti) - A fire broke out in a Moscow apartment building during the night, killing seven and injuring five, a firefighting official said Saturday.
Yevgeny Bobylev, spokesman for the Emergency Situations Ministry's Firefighting Service, said the fire at a nine-story building on Kamchatskaya Str. in eastern Moscow broke out at 3.53 a.m. Moscow time [12:53 a.m. GMT], and was extinguished at 5.27 a.m.
"According to the latest reports, seven people have been killed and five injured. Firefighters rescued 58 people," the official said.
