MOSCOW, February 11 (RIA Novosti)-Russia is ready to pay the International Development Association up to $587 million extra, Vladimir Putin said Saturday.
"This money could be used to cover the so-called structural gap," the president told G8 finance ministers.
The IDA is part of the World Bank and helps the poorest countries lift themselves out of poverty by providing interest-free loans and grants to boost economic growth. It was set up in 1960.
