ROME, February 16 (RIA Novosti) - Police in Rome have arrested three Ukrainian citizens suspected of robbing local immigrants by posing as FBI agents, the city's law enforcement authorities said Thursday.
The alleged thieves are said to have approached people preparing to depart from international bus stations. The Ukrainians would display false FBI badges, and demand that the passengers show their papers. The passengers, many of whom were carrying large amounts of cash in preparation for their journeys, were then allegedly led away and robbed.
