MOSCOW, February 21 (RIA Novosti) - Inflation in Russia may reach 10% in 2006, the head of the presidential expert department said Tuesday.

Arkady Dvorkovich said, "There are risks that inflation will be close to 10%."

Speaking about a possible change in oil cut-off price for the Stabilization Fund, set up to accumulate surplus revenue from high world oil prices, Dvorkovich said: "It will hardly be lowered. Whether it's worth increasing the price is currently a subject of discussion. The final decisions have not been made yet."

He added that the decision on the change in oil cut-off price for the fund may be made during corrections to this year's budget and to the financial plan for 2007-2008.

Dvorkovich said that the decision should be made proceeding from macroeconomic stability.
