MOSCOW, February 24 (RIA Novosti) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent greetings to Patriarch Alexy II, who is celebrating his saint's day, and thanked him for efforts to promote interfaith dialogue, the Kremlin press office said Friday.
In his letter of greetings, Putin said that as the head of the Russian Orthodox Church, Alexy II has been working hard to build bridges between different cultures and religious faiths and to foster spiritual values among the young.
