MOSCOW, February 26 (RIA Novosti) - The Russian government will consider a program of the atomic sphere restructuring in April 2006, a source in the country's nuclear watchdog said Sunday.
"The government is to draft and consider the program of the branch's development within three months," the source said.
He said Sergei Kiriyenko, the head of the Federal Agency for Nuclear Power, and Valery Nazarov, the head of the Federal Property Agency, had signed a joint statement on inventory procedures of the nuclear sphere.
The source said it was a necessary stage of restructuring in the new market conditions.
Programs on nuclear and radiation security, on the nuclear energy and defense sectors and on Russia's participation in the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor have already been submitted to the government, he added.
