BUSHEHR, February 26 (RIA Novosti) - The construction of the Bushehr nuclear power plant in Iran has been completed by 95%, a Russian expert said Sunday. Igor Kruuz, a deputy director of the construction department, said installation works were currently underway at the Bushehr nuclear power plant. About 3,700 Russian experts are currently helping to build the $800-million plant, originally started in the early 1980s by German specialists, in the port city of Bushehr in southern Iran in accordance with a 1992 agreement between the two countries.
"We are installing an automated control system, emergency and auxiliary systems and started mounting cooling machines," Kruuz said.
