MOSCOW, February 26 (RIA Novosti) - The Moscow Court of Arbitration satisfied Sunday a suit filed by Samaraneftegaz, a subsidiary of embattled oil giant Yukos, against an order to pay 165 million rubles ($5.85 million) in additional taxes for January 2005.
The Tax Service ruled earlier that Samaraneftegaz was liable for an additional 8.9 billion rubles ($315.8 million) in taxes for 2001, 8.7 billion rubles ($308.7 million) for 2002 and 7 billion rubles ($248.38 million) for 2003.
The court also turned down a counter-claim from the Tax Service.
