MOSCOW, March 2 (RIA Novosti) - Russian aircraft manufacturer Irkut plans to hold a road show on March 20 for its issue of $100 million in three-year credit linked notes (CLN), the company said Thursday.
The road show will be held in London, Singapore, and Hong Kong. The funds obtained from the issue will be used to refinance the company's debt.
Irkut is one of the country's major aerospace holdings, involved in the design, manufacture, and sale of a wide range of high-tech products, including the Su-30MK Multirole Combat Aircraft and the Be-200 Multipurpose Amphibious Jet.
Toward the end of 2005, the company signed agreements with European aircraft manufacturer Airbus, the European Aeronautic Defense and Space Company (EADS), and Pfalz Flugzeugwerke (PFW) to produce additional components for new Airbus planes.
