MOSCOW, March 6 (RIA Novosti) - Russian prosecutors said Monday they had sent to court a case involving the former security head at embattled oil major Yukos.

Alexei Pichugin, who has already been convicted of murder and attempted murder and sentenced to 20 years in prison, now faces new charges.

Pichugin was found guilty of the murder of Olga and Sergei Gorin from the Central Russian city of Tambov in 2002 and the attempted murder in 1998 of Olga Kostina, a former advisor of ex-Yukos CEO Mikhail Khodorkovsky.

In July 2005, the Prosecutor General's Office brought new charges against Pichugin. He is accused of the murders of a businesswoman and the mayor of Nefteyugansk, and the attempted murder of a businessman.
