WASHINGTON, March 7 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's foreign minister denied rumors Tuesday that Russia had sent Tehran proposals on new compromise variants to enrich Iranian uranium.
"Our uranium enrichment proposal was made only in this form," Lavrov said. He added the proposal to enrich Iranian nuclear fuel on Russian territory was not new and that it had been broadly welcomed in the international community.
