MOSCOW, March 11 (RIA Novosti) - Russia has been conducting an active energy dialogue with the U.S., EU and Asia Pacific Region countries for several years, the Russian industry and energy minister said before an international energy conference due in Moscow March 13.
"We have an extremely clear understanding of our own economic interests connected with these countries' markets, and problems to discuss and resolve," Viktor Khristenko said.
Khristenko said any energy dialogue's main point was how national energy strategies' implementation plans could be coordinated. "The fewer contradictions between them... the lower the risks to the global energy security," he said.
