MOSCOW, March 25 (RIA Novosti) - The Russian foreign minister discussed Iran with the U.S. secretary of state, the ministry said in a statement Saturday.
The statement said that Sergei Lavrov discussed over the phone with Condoleezza Rice a number of international issues including the situation with the controversial Iranian nuclear program in the context of the continuing UN Security Council consultations on the problem.
