MOSCOW, April 20 (RIA Novosti) - Eleven workers were killed Thursday in a blaze that destroyed six makeshift dormitories at a construction site in the Moscow Region, an emergencies official said.
"The fire started at 3.57 a.m. Moscow time [just before midnight GMT] ... sweeping through six makeshift metal shelters," the official said.
Four workers at the construction site of a new housing development received injuries and burns. Investigators have launched a probe into the causes of the tragedy.
