MOSCOW, April 20 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's leading petrochemical company Sibur and Russian-British joint energy venture TNK-BP are close to an agreement on a joint venture to process associated gas in West Siberia, a Gazprom executive said Thursday.
Gazprom owns a 100%-stake in Sibur.
Deputy Chairman Alexander Ryazanov said all the documents were ready and should be signed by the middle of the year.
TNK-BP Management Vice President Alexander Berezikov said "a memorandum on the establishment of a joint venture has been signed," adding that the companies would have a production sharing arrangement on a parity basis.
