MINSK, April 21 (RIA Novosti) - The first train with S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems has arrived in the capital of Belarus, the country's defense minister said Friday.
Leonid Maltsev said the systems arrived in Minsk this morning.
Russia and Belarus signed an agreement on deliveries of S-300PS anti-aircraft missile systems in September 2005. The systems, which will be deployed in Belarus, will improve the air defense of not only Belarus, but also of the Integrated Air Defense System of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
