DUSHANBE, April 22 (RIA Novosti) - Counter-terrorist forces of the Russian, Belarusian, Tajik and Armenian Interior Ministries have held joint exercises in the mountains of the central Asian republic of Tajikistan, a Tajik official said Saturday.
The aim of the exercises, held about 45 kilometers east of the country's capital Dushanbe, was to prepare joint operations to locate and destroy terrorist groups in mountain conditions, Tajik First Deputy Interior Minister Abdurakhim Kakhkharov said.
