MOSCOW, April 24 (RIA Novosti) - Russia is against Iran developing the knowledge it would need to become a nuclear power, a Kremlin source said Monday.
"We are categorically against proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, and against Iran having the technical know-how that would allow it to become a nuclear power," the source said.
The source said Russia and the United States had different approaches to resolving the long-running controversy around the Islamic Republic's nuclear program.
"We flatly deny any scenario to solve the issue by force," the source said.
