NIZHNY NOVGOROD, April 27 (RIA Novosti, Andrei Rukavishnikov) - A court in central Russia sentenced a 19-year old Russian to 13 years in prison Thursday after he was convicted of fatally stabbing two North Korean nationals.
Alexander Vedeneyev will serve his sentence in a high-security penal colony.
Two 45-year old North Koreans were found in the early hours September 23 lying on a street of Nizhny Novgorod, a city on the Volga River. One was dead after being stabbed in the back and the other died from his wounds in the hospital.
Investigators arrested Vedeneyev on October 4 and found the knife he had used in the attack.
