Iranian specialists have managed to enrich uranium-235 to 3.6% at a nuclear facility in Natanz, a report from the head of the UN's nuclear watchdog said Friday.

UNITED NATIONS, April 28 (RIA Novosti) - Iranian specialists have managed to enrich uranium-235 to 3.6% at a nuclear facility in Natanz, a report from the head of the UN's nuclear watchdog said Friday.

The report submitted by Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency Mohamed ElBaradei to the UN Security Council said Iran was continuing to produce enriched uranium at the Natanz research center, 1,700km (1,000 miles) from the Israeli border, using a cascade of 164 centrifuges and was building two more.

ElBaradei also said the IAEA was still not fully informed about the entire scale of Iran's nuclear program, which hampered the progress of the talks on the issue.

Iran is continuing its controversial nuclear program, which some countries fear will be used to develop nuclear weapons, in defiance of the international community.
