DUSHANBE, April 29 (RIA Novosti, Lidia Isamova) - Tajik Labor and Social Welfare Minister Zokir Vazirov and First Deputy Director of the Federal Migration Service Vladimir Kalanda discussed cooperation in labor migration, the Tajik Migration Service said Saturday.
"We are resolved to continue our joint efforts to deal with labor migration issues and stop illegal migration of Tajik citizens to Russia," the Tajik minister said.
The two sides shared notes on new forms of relations in the sphere of labor migration and coordination of efforts in creating an international migration labor exchange as part of the Eurasian Economic Community, an economic club of former Soviet republics seeking to establish a single economic zone comprising Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Belarus, founded in 2001.
