WARSAW, May 9 (RIA Novosti, Leonid Sviridov) - RIA Novosti opened Tuesday a photograph exposition, The People Who Triumphed over War, dedicated to the 61th V-E anniversary, in the city of Konin, Poland.
The exposition contains over 100 unique black and white photographs dated 1941-1945 from the archives of Sovinformburo, of which RIA Novosti is a legal successor.
Vladimir Kuznetsov, the Russian consul general in Poznan, the Konin mayor, Russian and Polish WWII veterans, and students took part in the ceremony.
