BISHKEK, May 10 (RIA Novosti) - The brother of a prominent Kyrgyz lawmaker killed during a prison riot in 2005 has been murdered, the country's Interior Ministry said Wednesday.
Ryspek Akmatbayev, a challenger for the seat of his deceased brother, Tynychbek Akmatbayev, was shot dead by three unknown men in a cafe in Bishkek, the country's capital.
On October 20, inmates rioting over prison conditions attacked members of a parliamentary commission, killing three of them, including the chairman of the law and order committee, Tynychbek Akmatbayev.
