Russia moves into next round of World Hockey Championship

MOSCOW, May 10 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's national team moved into the second round of the World Ice Hockey Championship in Latvia after defeating Slovakia 4-3 Wednesday.

Russia topped Group C with a maximum four points and will play against the team that finished third in Group B in the opening game of the relegation round Thursday.
