"I hope that these initiatives will be crowned with success," Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
The Malaysian head of government is attending a summit of the D-8 group of developing countries in Bali. In addition to Malaysia, this international organization, established in 1997, includes Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Nigeria, Pakistan, and Turkey.
