TBILISI, May 17 (RIA Novosti) - A military parade in Tbilisi on May 26 to mark Independence Day will be the largest of its kind for the last few years, the chief of the Georgian General Staff said Wednesday.
Levan Nikoleishvili said more than 17,500 servicemen and reservists would participate in the parade and military hardware, including armored vehicles and self-propelled guns, would be on display. He said an accompanying air show would involve 42 aircraft: six jets and 36 helicopters.
