MOSCOW, May 21 (RIA Novosti) - Police have seized more than 1 kg of drugs in St. Petersburg, the local interior department said Sunday over the phone.
"Police detained a student and an unemployed man in the Nevsky district of St. Petersburg and seized more than 1 kg of heroin from them," the interior department said.
Police have opened a criminal investigation into the case and launched measures to find the drug sellers, the interior department said.
