MOSCOW, June 1 (RIA Novosti)-Russia's government has refused to approve a controversial bill that would have banned ministers from using the words "dollar" and "euro", the finance minister said Thursday.
Alexei Kudrin said the government's conclusions on the controversial legislative project would be published in the next few days and would be negative.
"Deputies will most likely have to review the given bill and correct the mistakes," Kudrin said, though he added he doubted that it could be simply amended.
Kudrin was one of many ministers to dismiss the idea, which was put forward by a member of the pro-Kremlin United Russia faction, saying that it was impractical.
