MOSCOW, June 3 (RIA Novosti) - Six people were killed in a collision of a passenger train with a bus in the central Russian region of Voronezh, the Emergency Situations Ministry said Saturday.
"Passenger train No. 229 bound from Anapa [a Russian Black Sea resort] to St. Petersburg collided with a passenger Ikarus bus carrying some 50 people," the ministry said.
The accident occurred at about 6.00 p.m. Moscow time (2.00 p.m. GMT) 130 km to the south of Voronezh, the ministry said adding that the train had not got off the rails.
The ministry also said some bus passengers were injured in the accident.
