The state-owned gas giant's sales in 2005 brought in 1.44 trillion rubles ($53.79bln), against 1.01 trillion rubles ($37.73bln) in 2004.
Gazprom's RAS consolidated pretax profits doubled to 578 billion rubles ($21.5bln).
Natural gas sales in 2005 produced 968.58 billion rubles ($36.03bln), 37% up on 2004. Receipts from sales of oil and gas products increased by 12.35 billion rubles ($459.37mln) to 44.42 billion rubles ($1.65bln) in 2005 compared with the previous year.
Gazprom also reported 2005 net profits of 203.44 billion rubles ($7.57bln), an increase of 12.35 billion rubles on 2004.
Earlier reports said the Gazprom board of directors had recommended that an annual shareholder meeting slated for June 30 approve dividends of 1.5 rubles per share.
