MOSCOW, June 11 (RIA Novosti) - A light plane has crashed in the Moscow Region, killing two people, the Emergency Situations Ministry said Sunday.
The Yak-52 sports plane crashed at 16:03 p.m. Moscow time (12:03 p.m. GMT) near the village of Klimentyevo in the Moscow Region's Mozhaisk district as it was heading for a landing, the ministry said.
The flight instructor and the trainee died in the crash, the ministry said.
A criminal investigation has been launched, the ministry said.
