MOSCOW, June 15 (RIA Novosti) - Promsvyazbank has signed an agreement with U.S. National City Bank on a $25-mln loan, the press office of the Russian commercial bank said Thursday.
Promsvyazbank, which is ranked by the Central Bank among Russia's top thirty banks, said it would use the loan facility to build up its retail credit portfolio.
Promsvyazbank, with total assets of 124.6 billion rubles (about $4.6 billion) and shareholder equity of 11.4 billion rubles (about $422 million), said the loan with partial guarantees from U.S. Overseas Private Investment Corporation would mature in five years.
