KIEV, June 16 (RIA Novosti) - About 150 activists from the Congress of Ukrainian Nationalists Friday demonstrated outside the Russian Embassy in Kiev.
According to sources at the Russian diplomatic mission in the Ukrainian capital, CUN members from various parts of Ukraine staged a noisy protest, demanding that Russia stop interfering in Ukraine's internal affairs, end economic pressure and demarcate the Russian-Ukrainian border as soon as possible.
"There were no excesses except that some protesters chanted slogans insulting Russia and its leadership," Russian diplomats said.
The protesters presented their demands in writing to embassy officials.
After the demonstration, CUN activists marched to the office of the Ukrainian president, where they expressed their support for Viktor Yushchenko.
