MOSCOW, June 28 (RIA Novosti) - Gazprombank, a subsidiary of Russia's natural gas giant Gazprom, said Wednesday it would raise its charter capital though an additional share issue.
The bank's annual shareholders' meeting decided to raise its charter capital by 6.67 billion rubles (about $247 million) to 20 billion rubles (about $740 million), Gazprombank said.
Gazprombank, Russia's third largest bank in terms of assets, intends to float 6,665,926 common registered shares with a par value of 1,000 rubles (about $37) through closed subscription.
